We Are Contacted Frequently For Assistance Outside Of The Work We Do – And We Want To Help!
We want to keep families together – and we understand that there are amazing organizations in your local community that can provide the support that we’re not able to from afar. If you are in need of additional resources – please search the database for organizations local to you. We understand that there are times when pet-friendly housing may not be obtained and owner surrender will become an option.
My Pit Bull is Family is not a rescue organization, however, we do partner with amazing organizations around the country that you can connect with to learn more about their owner surrender programs and additional resources. On the flip side – we do not adopt animals out – but our partners would LOVE for you to meet their adoptable pups.
We Know That Through Building Partnerships And Coalitions – Collectively We Will Be Able To Provide Support To Pet Owners Everywhere.
We want to link pet families to organizations and businesses in their local communities so that there can be a safety net and a creation of pet owner support programs across the country. We also understand that there are power in numbers and that as our mission of ending pet policy discrimination is shared – the collective voice gets louder.
Our Community Partners also receive a partner pack full of materials to share in your community to raise awareness and create change in regards to dog-inclusive rentals.
