Help Us Open the Doors to Our New Home. My Pit Bull is Family is growing, and so is the need.

We are taking a huge step forward: securing a new facility to serve as the new home of My Pit Bull is Family. Our new building increases our footprint 8x, allowing us to support more people and pets, expand programming, and strengthen the support we provide to individuals facing financial hardship.

Now, we need your help to finish the job.

Our new facility will allow us to:

1. Expand volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups

2. Expand our North Minneapolis Pet Resource Center Hours and Walkup Availability

3. Launch a human-centered food shelf to support entire families, not just pets

4. Offer space for community education events, trainings, and workshops

5. Provide a centralized location for intake, sorting, and distribution of donations

6. Increase access to social work interns to better support the needs of pet families

7. Create space to embed community partner organizations that align with our mission

8. Create dedicated areas for CAMP student training and hands-on learning experiences

9. Build capacity for future programming, including crisis fostering and microchip scanning stations

10. Most of all, bring the majority of our programming together under one roof to better serve the community
