Veterinary Technician (FT/PT)
Access Veterinary Care is seeking a (C)VT who wants to practice in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. We are primarily an urgent care clinic providing affordable outpatient veterinary care, with strong opportunities for professional growth and skill development. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

As a veterinary technician at Access Veterinary Care, you’ll play a central role in patient care by assisting veterinarians with sick and injured patients, running laboratory diagnostics, monitoring anesthesia for sedated procedures, assisting with surgery, performing dental radiographs and prophylaxis, communicating with clients, and carrying out treatments under veterinary supervision.

We’re looking for technicians who want greater autonomy in case management. The ideal candidate enjoys client education, direct patient care, and practicing to the full extent of their training. Experienced technicians will have opportunities to learn and display advanced technical skills, including placing skin sutures, applying bandages and splints, performing thoracocentesis, and more.

The North Minneapolis Pet Resource Center (NMPRC) Program Manager leads daily operations and community-focused programming to ensure pet families have access to the resources they need. The ideal candidate is passionate connecting with people, about animal welfare, community advocacy, and making a tangible difference for people and pets.

Veterinary Practice Manager (FT)
When Access Veterinary Care first started, the goal was to change the industry to be able to help more pets stay with their families. We are now taking that vision to new heights with our planned merger with a phenomenal local non-profit to expand services and create future growth opportunities! We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Practice Manager that is comfortable with navigating change to help shepherd these two organizations (and the teams that make up these organizations) to a new future!

The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of Access Veterinary Care - a stand-alone Urgent Care clinic. This position provides a variety of analytical, evaluative, advisory, coordination, supervisory, and technical functions in support of the facility and overall organization.

Associate Veterinarian (FT/PT)
If you are someone that wants to feel good at the end of each day, not just about the medicine you provided but for all the families that you helped, we want to talk to you!

Access Veterinary Care opened in 2018 with the mission to increase access to veterinary care, using a new-to-industry care delivery model and an open heart to reach more families. Our goal is to provide exceptional veterinary care in an approachable, affordable, accessible way. WE ARE PROUD TO REFLECT OUR COMMUNITY AND SERVE OUR NEIGHBORS!

We have a strong support staff to doctor ratio. Our support staff are highly skilled and constantly learning new skills, allowing for high utilization so our DVMs can focus on DVM-level tasks. This “team sport” approach allows us to support one another to the finish line!

Our services include urgent care days, scheduled surgery days and a dedicated preventative care day. Our DVMs work roughly 1 out of 3 Saturdays, with flexibility to swap shifts with teammates to maintain a healthy work-life balance. We would love to add Sunday’s back to our urgent care service days and you could help make that happen!
